Women’s Small Business Accelerator Honors Sharon DeLay with 2019 Emerging Leader Award

(May 21, 2019) – The Women’s Small Business Accelerator is pleased to announce that Sharon DeLay, owner and President of GO-HR, is the recipient of the 2019 Emerging Leader Award. This prestigious award honors women entrepreneurs who have been in business at least one year, have worked or volunteered with the Women’s Small Business Accelerator, and have contributed significantly to their community. Sharon DeLay will receive this award at the 2019 Women’s Leadership Conference on Friday, June 28th in Columbus, Ohio.

Sharon DeLay, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CPCC, started HR-GO (a dba of BoldlyGO Career and HR Management, LLC) over 16 years ago and has become the expert at small business HR. Sharon’s business focuses on developing relationships that enables them to understand everyone of their clients as a unique and separate business. HR-GO works almost exclusively with small and micro business across five areas: general HR, recruiting and on-boarding, training and development, non-traditional benefits and consulting, and career and corporate outplacement.

Sharon holds an MBA as well as undergraduate degrees in HR, Education, and Communications. She maintains Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM-SCP professional HR certifications, and Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC) and Certified Professional Résumé Writer (CPRW) certifications. She also has an Accident & Health license. Sharon is also an Everything DiSC Certified Trainer, and an Authorized Partner for Everything DiSC®, The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™, and PXT Select.

Sharon currently sits on the Board of Directors for Camp Wyandot and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio. She is also a member of the Conway Center for Family Business, Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce, and NAWBO Columbus. She resides in Columbus, Ohio with her husband Kevin and their four dogs.

HONDROS COLLEGE OF BUSINESS RECEIVES APPROVAL TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR STATE AUTHORIZATION RECIPROCITY AGREEMENTS

(May 22, 2019) – Hondros College of Business, part of Hondros Education Group, has been approved by the Ohio Department of Higher Education to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.

Students from any state (except California) may enroll in the online Associate Degree in the Applied Business in Business Management program at Hondros College of Business. The program is designed for working adults seeking to enter or advance their career. Students can start the program four times throughout the year in January, April, July, and October.
